Lazy Days of Summer

Astolat Dufaux of Montagne Noire has quietly been making classic Victorian styled gowns for several years.  She has been absent from Second Life due to her health in real life but has styled new springtime offerings in the past weeks. This lovely print summer gown with Irish lace and simple rosette adornments is just right for these hot summer days.  The gown is accessorized with a straw chip hat and white lace parasol.

The Irish lace edges the full skirt, neckline, sleeves and bustle. I'm wearing the mint shade but bluebell and lavender are the other choices.  As a new release, the gown is 50% off this week, just 125L!

Of course, I had to find another straw hat in my hatboxes - Lady Flora by our esteemed Miss Reghan Straaf of Hatpins. With this rose covered hat, I had to add a bit more pink to the gown's rosettes.
Please wander down the streets of Caledon Oxbridge Village until you find the quaint shop of Montagne Noire Clothiers.  If you belong to the Victorian Shopkeepers Association, you will find the current notice.
