Stitch by Stitch Separates include Pink Shrug, Mona Berlin Flea Market Skirt, & Tara Tank Top
Spring has started to bloom with warm breezes making the daffodils nod. The feel of a cute skirt swishing around your knees or ankles signals the end of winter as nothing else can. Even in Caledon, days come when we ladies toss the bustles and take off on spring shopping trips. In looking for sculptures, I found a new pair of shops that just said "spring" in no uncertain terms. Combining a pink shrug, with a teal tank top from another simple dress, I tossed on the Flea Market Skirt which is various shades of tulle net with touches of plaid in the waist and the pants underneath. The shop's selection included fun tops which would mix and match with the different skirts.
Sevenstar Amat's shops were sprinkled with accessories. Be prepared to scan the store cabinets for goodies. This necklace caught my idea with it's tiny details. La Boite it is called or my sentimental cat necklace.
Stitch by Stitch - Morning Glory
Morning Glory in light spring green ruffles painted with morning glory flowers was accented by chiffon eyelet underskirt and knee length striped leggings. A plaid bow caught the babydoll waist while a matching necklace of big beads finished the outfit.
Stitch by Stitch - Sammy - Teal
Sammy in this teal color includes the corset top with flirty skirt with black polka dots and trimmed in a black border with white dots. The bodice is laced with black thread and tiny white buttons dotted down the front. Again the texture is wonderfully detailed. Not shown are the bloomer shorts which turn Sammy into a playtime outfit.
Stitch by Stitch Couture - Princess Poppy
As I finished by shopping spree, I saw a second shop across the little duck pond - Stitch by Stitch Couture. Just a few gowns were featured, but the poppy red of this party gown has a lovely painted texture. The corset top and overskirt is decorated with painted poppy flowers in shades of red with black accents. The underskirt features layers of net tulle sweeping the floor. To keep one's hair in place when the spring wind blows, there is a tulle scarf accented with red flowers at the neck. Looking forward to more outfits from Sevenstar Amat - a designer to watch for her lovely attention to textures in clothing and other goodies.
