The Far North - a wheat field

One of the Caledonian gentlemen mentioned that tonight was the last night for the sim creation called The Far North. Wonderful design by AM Radio who recreated the wheat fields of a Midwest or Southern farm complete with rusted train engine and other wonders. Donations could be made to benefit Heifer Project Internationl, a nonprofit organization which supports families around the world by providing them with cattle, chickens, sheep, goats and other livestock. The livestock helps the families help themselves with a renewable resource for their communities. Donations can still be made at Heifer Project International.

Fireworks ended a lovely evening shared by friends and neighbors from Caledon and Second Life. The particle display was ooo'd and awww'd over by everyone though Mr. Hotspur Otoole was concerned by flying wheat chaff dusting his jacket. Overall, we were just impressed by the fireworks and thankful that not a single spark set fire to the dry wheat fields.
