Victorian Purples

 After a suitable period of mourning, Victorian ladies could gradually leave their blacks for subdued colors such as gray, mauve, and purple.  Being a Merry Widow, my closet seems to have several mourning purple gowns.

Gown:  Goth1c0  Ophelia Victorian in purple and black.

Love the striped corset with the belts circling the waist. Includes a high collar with a bow plus the top hat decorated with flowers and ribbons.

Gown: Grim Bros - Miss Vapeur Plum

This gown definitely has touches of steampunk brass and cogs on the collar and sleeve cuffs which come in two options of purple to match the dress or steampunk brown.

The sleeves have a rounded piped effect on the shoulders which gives one that mechanical doll appearance.  The top hat has the options of three colors - black, purple, or brown - adorned with chains and sprockets. Popped over to Cutea Benelli's shop...and oh my! - she has new outfits everywhere.  I'll do some serious shopping just in case my closet needs anything else!

Purple velvet accented with black lace - what more could a widow desire!  Note the black lace tight sleeve easing into the black gloves.  The skirt has two long options - the silver amethyst as shown or a brass decoration.  A lolita flirty skirt version is another option.  Unzipped main store has a Victorian section plus the ever popular Steampunk displays.

Unzipped also had a freebie display.  I could not resist this Gothic jacket outfit belted with a silver buckled belt, high collar and black lace fabric.  Besides, this outfit gave me a perfect excuse to wear the Glossy Ribbon boots - one of my wardrobe standbys.
More purple dresses are coming tomorrow....where is my black edged hankie?
